MEET THE TEAM

Meet Instructor Christine

"The Pusher"

Christine is the founder of FireCycle Abilene. She has a lifelong love of cycling, both indoors and outdoors.

Her style as an instructor includes HIIT, hills (with added crunches, climbs, push-ups, jumps, sprints/pushes), and of course tap-backs for days. She is gonna get you out of your comfort zone - all with a dose of smiles and motivation.

She loves rock music and a good theme ride.

Get ready to feel the joy when you are in her class.

Meet Instructor Nina

"The Motivator"

With a passion for new and veteran riders, Nina wishes her riders to feel empowered, celebrated, and motivated after each ride!

Her riders refer to her as the encourager, feeling uplifted after every class, ready to tackle the world.

(okay, maybe not the world, but their to-do list).

While she appreciates a great theme ride, Nina also loves Hip-Hop, anything from the 90s, and all the remixes. Her favorite bike moves include climbs, jumps, and a very dramatic weight routine. Get ready to work hard and just plain jam out with Nina!

Meet Instructor Baylee

"The Partier"

Baylee is a FireCycle rider turned instructor. While she appreciates all types of music, her rides consist of a unique blend of new-school and old-school vibes. She also enjoys playing new hits, hip-hop, and pop.

Bayless's favorite moves on the bike include tapbacks, around the world, and jumps. Did we mention her rides are one big fun-filled party-type vibe?!

Meet Instructor Andrew

"The New Kid"

Andrew comes to us from Lubbock, TX, and is a pre-nursing student at ACU. Before joining FireCycle Abilene, Andrew was an indoor cycling instructor in his hometown.

You can expect to hear mostly EDM and Pop jams at his rides, but he loves just about anything. His favorite moves involve endurance runs and empowering choreography.

STUDIO RULES

1.We are an old school style cycling studio (minus the cross talk). What does that mean? We are loud, fun, the lights are dark, and we ride as hard as possible to the rhythm of the music.

2.We start on time so be on time. If you are not on your bike at 1 minute before start time we reserve the right to give your bike to someone wait listed. We are located inside Firehouse Fitness located at 3518 South 7th St. The studio will open 15 minutes prior to class. If you are not a Firehouse Fitness member you will need to use the front door facing South 7th to enter the studio space.

3.We are in a small space so please be courteous to your neighbor, wear deodorant and clean workout attire.

4. Everyone "clips-in" so you can ride with the entire pack alongside the rhythm of the music, you can borrow shoes if you need them. Arrive 10 minutes early to get help with bike set-up. We offer duel pedals so you can use Delta or SPD clips. Tennis shoes are not an option.

5.No cell phone use. If you are worried about an emergency please give your loved ones the office line and someone will come get you out of class. You can leave your phone in a cubby in the back. Personal tracking devices or use of monitors is OK. Please keep chatting to a minimum once the ride begins.

6.Everyone must sign a separate Firecycle waiver, even if you are already a member of Firehouse Fitness. Let’s all be safe and enjoy our ride. You will do this when you book your bike online.

SAY GOODBYE TO BORING CARDIO
